Minnetonka Ward 3 residents. One component of a councilmember’s role is to review and approve an updated 5 year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). This is A LOT of your taxpayer money–$155,526,900 over 5 years. Roads, Parks, Police Technology, etc. Should the City spend $400,000 on new tennis courts? What priority should be given to new bike trails? Do we want solar in future on new public works building? The CIP is a big, big deal.
This next Monday is a Council Study Session for City Council initial feedback. This information became public today, and yes we have four (4) days to provide initial feedback. Don’t worry, it won’t be approved now, but must be formally adopted this summer 2020.
The CIP is annually reviewed, so this is not a one time approval of a 5 year CIP.

I ran on more local government transparency. I will continue to do all I can to deliver on my campaign promise.
Thank you everyone!
